After the speech from the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Yamandú Orsi, the Holy Father Leo XIV delivered his address. The Holy Father and the President then entered the Edificio José Artigas via the Grand Staircase, and arrived at the second floor for the courtesy visit.
After the official photograph in the Salón Rojo and the exchange of gifts in the Salón de los Espejos , the private meeting and presentation of the family took place in the same hall.
