Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) said he would accept the election results of the upcoming 2026 elections, even if he lost, following a Justice Department (DOJ) lawsuit attempting to invalidate election results if his opponent, former Rep. Mary Peltola (D-Alaska), won.
Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sullivan was asked by host Jake Tapper if he would only accept the election results if he won. “No, I‘m going to accept the election results,” Sullivan said. The senator has hammered Peltola recently over a New York Times report that alleged her campaign and national Democrats “ballot-stacked” the Alaska Senate race by recruiting another candidate who shared the same name as Sullivan.
