The recent midterm election has brought to light the claims made by some on the Left that Donald Trump would end elections if he were to win in 2024. Rachel Maddow, for example, claimed on ABC's "The View" that Trump would not allow another election after being put back in the White House.

Similarly, Joy Reid stated that the 2024 election could be the last one, comparing Trump to Hitler and implying that he would bring about a fascist regime. These claims have been proven false, as the midterm election took place without any issues.

The Left's conspiracy theories, which included scenarios such as Marines seizing voting ballots and Trump declaring martial law to cancel the midterms, have not come to fruition. Despite this, some individuals, such as Rosie O'Donnell, continue to spread baseless theories, including the idea that Trump would cancel the 2028 elections.

The fact that the midterm election was successful and democratic processes are still in place undermines the Left's claims of impending doom. The Daily Signal notes that the Left's complaints about misinformation and conspiracy theories in conservative media are hypocritical, given their own history of spreading unfounded theories.

The article concludes that the Left's behavior is driven by a "business model" that prioritizes sensationalism over facts. The outcome of the midterm election has shown that democracy is still alive and functioning, despite the Left's dire predictions.
