A pastor from River Road Mission Church in Demorest, Georgia, was hospitalized after collapsing during a sermon on Sunday. According to the church, Pastor Kenneth Taylor passed out and hit his head, remaining unresponsive for over a minute before regaining consciousness. The church requested prayers for their pastor as he was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
The church provided updates on Pastor Taylor's condition, stating that he was hospitalized overnight so doctors could check his heart due to uncertainty about the cause of his collapse. On Tuesday, the church announced that Pastor Taylor had been released from the hospital and was recovering at home.
The church attributed Pastor Taylor's collapse to low blood sugar, citing doctors who said "it must have been his sugar" that caused him to pass out and experience irregular heart activity. The church expressed gratitude for the prayers and support their pastor received, stating that they worked and "Jesus certainly touched him." Pastor Taylor is reportedly doing well and appreciates the prayers he received.
