The company, based in Wingdale, New York, is celebrating its 100th anniversary and has broken ground on the new Hunt Craft Village at the historic site.

The historic site, which dates back to the 18th century, was formerly known as the Webatuck Craft Village before it closed in the 1980s. Hunt Country Furniture acquired the site about a decade ago and has been developing plans to reopen it.

According to Hunt Country Furniture CEO Lucia Bartovic, the company wants to create a place that celebrates American craftsmanship and preserves traditional skills. The new village will also support local artists and provide educational opportunities. The company's vision for the village has been in development for several years, and they are excited to bring it to life.
